PURPOSE: To provide an inexpensive single band electronic tuner for CATV PCM music broadcast receiver by providing a 1st or 2nd receivable band.

CONSTITUTION: A mixer 43s of a double band electronic tuner performs the conversion of frequency based on the oscillation frequency outputted from a local oscillation circuit 43u to secure about 44.0MHz. A 1st band can continuously receive the frequency of the signals inputted to an input terminal 43a in a range covering about 72MHz up to about 2.2 times as high as this frequency. Meanwhile a 2nd band can continuously receive the frequency of the input signal of the terminal 43a in a range covering about 1/2.2 highest frequency of the CATV broadcast up to the highest frequency. Then one of both bands can be selected. Therefore a 2nd tuner block which receives the UHF band and a band switching means can be omitted. Then an inexpensive single band electronic tuner is obtained.
