Title:
SINGLE BASE POLYMORPHISM (4) IN HUMAN GENE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2003259875
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a gene-related material, such as a polynucleotide, useful for detecting single base polymorphism existing in a human gene.

This polynucleotide is isolated from the human gene and purified, and has any one of 3309 kinds of specified base sequences (refer to the specification), or another one of single base-substituted sequences thereof. The polynucleotide is applicable to PCR amplification, so that a combination of two DNA fragments which are selected from 4186 kinds of specific base sequences (refer to the specification) different from the 3309 kinds specified in the above is subjected to the PCR amplification as a set, wherein the two DNA fragments are consecutively combined to each other in order of number of the base sequence from the smallest two.
