To simplify a facility to reduce the cost and facilitate the operation in a single end type heat accumulation radiant tube burner including two or more isolated heat accumulation parts arranged above a combustion chamber in a bottomed cylindrical radiant tube, the burner switchingly performing the operation of injecting a fuel and combustion air heated by one heat accumulation part into the combustion chamber to burn the fuel and the operation of exhausting combustion exhaust gas through the other heat accumulation part.
In this burner, two or more isolated heat accumulation parts 13a and 13b are arranged on the upper side of the combustion chamber 11 without providing a partition for partitioning the combustion chamber 11 within the bottomed cylindrical radiant tube 10. This burner comprises a switching means 50 for successively switching the operation for injecting the fuel to the combustion chamber through a fuel pipe 20 and also injecting the combustion air through the one heat accumulation part to burn the fuel and the operation for exhausting the combustion exhaust gas through the other heat accumulation part.
