PURPOSE: To reduce the roughness of a grinding plate surface and to suppress the rust generation by a method wherein a grinding fluid is applied to a metal plating friction surface of a single face of a metal plated steel plate and a grinding is performed with an endless belt grinding machine, and thereafter, it is sequentially passed through a wiper, a washing tank and a brushing roll.
CONSTITUTION: While a grinding fluid is applied to a single face side metal plating friction face of a metal plated steel plate 1 by means of a grinding fluid applying device 5, the whole plated surface is ground with an endless belt 4 of a single face metal plating grinding machine. In the mean time, the grinding fluid is circulated by means of a circulator 6. After a grinding treatment, an exfoliated waste and a grinding fluid are separated with a wiper 7, the friction surface is induced to a washing tank 8 to be washed. Next, the grinding surface is polished through a brushing roll 11 to be glazed. With this, a surface roughness of a single face metal plating steel plate can be made at 7μ or less, rust generation can be delayed and a grinding working distortion can be prevented.
