To provide a single focus lens whose entire length is short and which can principally obtain optimum optical performance for a photographing lens and does not require the high manufacture technique.

The single focus lens 1 is equipped with a first lens L1 being a meniscus whose concave surface faces to an object side and which has positive refractive power, a second lens L2 being a meniscus at least the one surface of which is constituted of an aspherical surface, and a third lens L3 whose concave surface faces to the object side and which has negative refractive power in order from the object side. Furthermore, the lens 1 is equipped with a fourth lens L4 whose convex surface faces to an image surface side and which has positive refractive power, a fifth lens L5 whose convex surface faces to the image surface side and which has positive refractive power, and a sixth lens L6 being a meniscus whose concave surface faces to the image surface side and at least the one surface of which is constituted of an aspherical surface. It is desirable to constitute the second and the fifth lenses L2 and L5 of optical resin.
