Abstract:
PURPOSE:To secure a high mooring stability through a simple structure by connecting an intermediate sinker, by means of a first chain, to a buoy with which a hull to be moored is to be connected through a york and further connecting the intermediate sinker with a mooring base constructed by a rigid framework through a plurality of second chains. CONSTITUTION:The upper end of a first chain 16 is connected with a buoy 8 whereto a york 4 for connecting a hull 2 to be moored thereto is connected and the lower end thereof is connected with an intermediate sinker 22. One end of each of a plurality of second chains 24 is connected with the intermediate sinker 22 in the radial direction thereof and the other end thereof is connected with a mooring base constructed by a rigid framework 25 locked to the sea-bed. This enables the overall structure to be simplified, the mooring chains with low strength to be used, and a high mooring stability to be secured by a light weight apparatus.
