Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a single rod cylinder drive system capable of controlling a shrinkage speed of a single rod cylinder in a case in which a differential circuit is constituted during expansion and the single rod cylinder operates reversely during expansion.SOLUTION: A hydraulic pressure drive system 1 includes: a motor 2; a controller 40; a hydraulic pump 3; a single rod cylinder 4; and a tank 5. The motor 2 includes an output shaft 2a, and the controller 40 controls a rotational direction and a rotational speed of the output shaft 2a. The hydraulic pump 3, which is connected to a first feed/exhaust passage 11 and a second feed/exhaust passage 12, discharges a pressure fluid at a flow volume in response to the rotational speed of the output shaft 2a of the motor 2 to the passage in response to the rotational direction of the output shaft 2a thereof. The single rod cylinder 4 includes a bottom-side port 26 that is connected to the hydraulic pump 3 via the first feed/exhaust passage 11; and a rod-side port 27 that is connected to the first feed/exhaust passage 11 via a third feed/exhaust passage 13. The tank 5 can return a working fluid discharged to the second feed/exhaust passage 12 from the hydraulic pump 3 to the single rod cylinder 4.
