Abstract:
To provide a single screw compressor that can improve compression efficiency.SOLUTION: A single screw compressor is provided with a casing 10, one screw rotor 40 in which a spiral groove 41 is formed, a gate rotor for forming a compression chamber 23 in the spiral groove 41 by meshing with the screw rotor, and a discharge passage 60 through which fluid compressed in the compression chamber flows. The discharge passage includes expanded flow passages 61 and 62 whose flow passage cross sectional area is gradually expanded as going toward the downstream side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
