Title:
SINGLE-WHEEL WORKING MACHINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3416311
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a single-wheel working machine requiring light handle load to maintain balance of a machine body, readily carrying out stable operation, having improved workability, comprising a rotating central shaft of a gyro member, which passes through in the vicinity of the center of gravity of the machine body and positions nearly on a shaft line along the longitudinal direction of the machine body.
CONSTITUTION: A main body 7 of a working machine is driven by a power source 13 attached to a machine body 2. The machine body is equipped with a gyro member 26 which is revolved and driven by the power source 13 and has function for retaining balance in the right and left directions of the machine body 2. The rotating central shaft L of the gyro member 26 passes through in the vicinity of the center of gravity of the machine body and positioned nearly on a shaft line along the longitudinal direction of the machine body 2. The gyro member 26 is located above the center of gravity of the machine body 2, is inclined forward in a range to make the top of the gyro member 26 in an approximately horizontal state when the main body 7 of the working machine is driven. In the case where a single-wheel working machine is a tiller, the gyro member 26 is preferably positioned above a cylinder block 13a and a transmission case 13b of the power source 13 and below the front side of the handle 10.
