The single-winding, two-stage scroll type compressor is structured so that an appropriate plate of a spiral groove formed by a stationary lap 6 in a stationary scroll 1 is blocked with the partitioning wall 22, the low pressure stage part discharge hole 23 and high pressure stage part suction hole 24 are provided on the sides of the partitioning wall 22, and that a pressurized gas discharged from the discharge hole 23 is led to the suction hole 24 via an intermediate cooler 27, wherein the discharge hole 23 or suction hole 24 is directed in such a way as intersecting the axis of the stationary scroll 1.
