Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a sintered body 7 of a magnesium alloy or an aluminum alloy having enhanced sintering degree by sintering after cold compacting alloy fine particles 5 with an ultra fine structure; a sound quality and close forging article 12 with a fine metallic structure which is completely sintered (bond between powders) by hot forging the sintered body 7 in air; and a manufacturing method therefor.SOLUTION: A sintered body 7 of a magnesium alloy or an aluminum alloy has a structure with a whole true density ratio obtained by sintering magnesium alloy fine particles or aluminum alloy fine particles 5 with a grain size of 2 μm or less, particle size of 100-3,000 μm of 95% or more. A forging article 12 of the magnesium alloy or the aluminum alloy is formed by hot forging the sintered body 7 in air and has a structure with a whole true density ratio of 100%.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
