Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a welding joint having the strength equivalent to a base material by making a hardness of the weld-affected zone of a weld metal and ferrous sintered material side in the specific range.

CONSTITUTION: As for a structural member having a weld joint between ferrous sintered materials, ferrous sintering material and steel, cast steel/cast iron and medium/high carbon steel, the balance in the following is required, (1) a hardness Hv of weld metal is in the range of 100-350, also, a max. hardness Hv of the welding heat affected zone of ferrous sintering material is in the range of 100-450. (2) a max. hardness Hv of the welding heat affected zone of ferrous sintering material is in the range of above 450 and less than 600, also, an average hardness Hv of weld metal is in the range of 100-350. (3) An average hardness Hv of weld metal is in the range of above 350 and less than 550, also, a max. hardness of the welding heat affected zone of ferrous sintering material side is in the range of 11-450. As a result, as a tensile property, the weld joint having the strength equivalent to the base metal of lower strength side is obtained.
