Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a porous composite material having various shapes and sizes made of various materials, high mechanical strength, and minute pores.SOLUTION: A sintered porous composite material includes a porous layer made of 255 nickel powder pressed under isotropic pressure adjacent to a porous layer made of 210H nickel powder pressed under isotropic pressure. Both the porous layer made of 255 nickel powder and the porous layer made of 210H nickel powder are sintered, and thus the sintered porous composite material and a filter element have pores of a maximum size less than 200 nanometer and a screening logarithmic retention value (LRV) of at least 2 to 0.2 μm particles in water.
