Title:
SINTERED SLIDING MEMBER HAVING LOW FRICTION COEFFICIENT AND ITS PRODUCTION
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3436557
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a sintered sliding member excellent in the initial fitness of sliding and low in a friction coefficient by impregnating a spotted porous sintered body, in which the soft sliding part is constituted of IB group metals and the hard regulating part is constituted of alloys contg. Sc, Ti, V, Cr or the like, with a lubricating oil.
CONSTITUTION: A spotted porous sintered body is formed in which the matrix of the sliding face is constituted of IB group metals (Cu, Ag and Au) by 5 to 95% (area ratio) and the balance elements and/of alloys selected from Sc, Ti, V, Cr, Mn, Fe, Co, Ni, Y, Zr, Nb or the like excluding the main componental metals of the mating sliding member. This sintered body is subjected to sizing in a lubricating oil, in a state in which the lubricating oil is sufficiently fed or in a state in which the material is impregnated with the lubricating oil. The lubricating oil contains an organic compound contg. halogen and having no polar groups and/or an inorganic compound.
