Title:
SINTERING FURNACE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3437427
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a sintering furnace which can be used with no problem even under quick heating or cooling conditions while making uniform the heating temperature in the furnace through burner system by arranging radiant tubes made of a heat resistant material uniformly over the entire furnace body.
SOLUTION: Radiant tubes 3a, 3b and 3c are arranged uniformly over the entire furnace body 1 and the furnace bed 2 such that the total combustion energy thereof is distributed to the ceiling part 4, the side wall part and the furnace bed 2 by 10%, 60% and 30%, respectively. Consequently, temperature of the radiant tubes can be controlled individually at the ceiling part 4, the side wall part and the furnace bed 2 and an object can be heated uniformly. Furthermore, when a temporarily cooled object is heated again, only the most cool furnace bed 2 can be preheated. These radiant tubes 3a, 3b and 3c are made of a heat resistant material and fixed, to the opposite ends thereof, with burners so that they can be burnt alternately.
