Title:
SINTERED METAL-BASED CONNECTING ROD
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2020165435
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
To provide a connecting rod that can suppress the occurrence of abrasion or noise by making degree of parallel between a through hole of a large end part and a through hole of a small end part small, while benefiting from low cost due to sintered metal.SOLUTION: In a sintered metal-based connecting rod 10 having a large end part 11, a small end part 12 and a stem part 13 integrally, between the large end part 11 and the stem part 13 of front or back surfaces 11c to 13c on which through holes 11a and 12a are opened, and between the small end part 12 and the stem part 13, split marks 14a, 14b of a molding die are formed by compression molding, respectively. The density difference between the large end part 11 and the stem part 13 and the density difference between the small end part 12 and the stem part 13 are both 4% or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
