Title:
SINTERING METHOD FOR WORK IN POWDER METALLURGY
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3240094
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PURPOSE: To minimize the dimensional change at the time of sintering by locking the upper end periphery of a sintering jig on an R part and sintering a work in a high temp. furnace.
CONSTITUTION: An R part 17 to be locked, for being fitted to a sintering jig 16, is formed on the inside periphery of the top face 2 of a work 15. The sintering jig 16 is made of iron having thermal expansion coefficient and thermal conductivity practically approximating to those of the work 15 and is formed into a cylindrical shape having a size where its outside diameter can be practically fitted to the inside peripheral wall of the work 15 and inserted, and further, a teeth part is formed at its outside peripheral surface. The sintering jig 16 is placed on a mesh belt 10 and the work 15 is put on it. In this state, the work 15 is passed through a high temp. furnace and sintered. By this method, the straightening stage after work sintering can be removed or simplified.
