Title:
SINTERING TYPE RARE-EARTH MAGNET
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS57118605
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To enhance crystallizability of magnetic powder and the crystal orientation degree, by grinding and sintering magnetic alloy of single crystal in matrix phase.

CONSTITUTION: There are other phases in a single matrix phase of crystal made of rare-earth elements obtained by Czochralski method, Bridgman method, or FZ method. The crystal is heated at 1,100W1,200°C in Ar gas atmosphere and made into solid solution totally or mostly within matrix phase. This alloy is ground to powder 10μ of average diameter and pressure-formed in a magnetic field, after adding 0.5% of lubricant and kneading. A magnet is obtained by sintering at 1,200W1,280°C and aging at 400W1,000°C, after the heat treatment of delubricant.
