Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sitting assisting device for toilet by which a user can easily sit on the toilet seat of a toilet, or can stand up from a sitting state.
SOLUTION: This sitting assisting device for toilet is equipped with a device body 1, a frame 8, a linking mechanism 25, a handle 26, and a gas spring 31. In this case, the device body 1 is attached and fixed to the toilet 21. To the frame 8, the toilet seat 14 is attached. At the same time, the front end of the frame 8 is turnably connected with the device body, and by turning the frame 8 in a lying direction, the toilet seat is located in a manner to be confronted with the upper end surface of the toilet. The linking mechanism 25 is provided to be connected with the frame and the device body. One end of the handle 26 is connected to the linking mechanism 25, and the handle 26 operates the linking mechanism when being turn-controlled, with the connected one end as a fulcrum. Thus, the handle 26 makes the frame rise/lie. One end of the gas spring 31 is pivotally connected with the device body, and the other end is pivotally connected with the frame 8 in such a manner that the connecting location can be changed in the longitudinal direction of the frame 8. Also, the gas spring 31 urges the frame 28 in the rising direction with the front end as a fulcrum. At the same time, the gas spring 31 holds the frame 28 at different rising angles in response to the connecting location to a frame of the other end.
