Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seating detection device that is able to appropriately detect whether a rear seat is occupied or not.SOLUTION: A seating detection device comprises: first seating sensors 20L that are provided in rear seats arranged in the rear of a vehicle and at both ends of each of the plurality of seats arranged in parallel in a vehicle width direction, and are disposed on a seat surface of the seat; and a plurality of cells C1 to C4 (C5 to C8) provided for the first seating sensors 20L, conducted by the application of predetermined load, and arranged in parallel in the vehicle width direction. In the cells C1 to C4, the two cells C1, C2; C3, C4 provided adjacent to each other in one side in the vehicle width direction from a first center line L1 of a seat surface, extending in the vehicle forward and rearward directions, are connected in series; and the two cells C2, C3 arranged adjacent each other with the first center line L1 between them and connected in parallel and the two cells C1, C4 provided at both ends and connected in parallel are connected in series.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
