Abstract:
PURPOSE: To miniaturize a size producing machine and improve the efficiency of size producing works by equipping the mixing tank with a mixing blade and a shearing blade and making it possible to perform both integral blend and high-speed shearing blend in one tank.
CONSTITUTION: The mixing tank 65 is equipped with an integral blend blade 54 having the horizontal main shaft and a high-speed shearing blade 55 arranged in the neighborhood of the middle part of the integral blend blade 54. This mixing tank 65 involves also a viscometer 59 and the viscosity value of a sizing agent is measured by the viscometer 59 and controlled by automatically adding water or a sodium hydroxide solution.
