Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop a skater with a power assisting motor enabling anyone to easily operate and enabling even a beginner and the handicapped to safely operate while being miniaturized and reduced in weight so as to be portable other than running by miniaturizing a driving device for running.
SOLUTION: A handle shaft 1 journaling a front wheel 3 is fitted to the front end of a board 6, and a rear wheel 11 is journaled to the rear end of the board 6. An electric motor 14 for transmitting power to the rear wheel 11 by friction is supported to the board 6 so as to be able to connect or disconnect mechanism contact with the rear wheel 11. The electric motor 14 is constituted to be driven by a switching circuit 21 supplied with power at the rotating speed of a fixed value or more on the basis of detected information on the rotating speed of the rear wheel 11.
