To enable even a gliding person having low physical strength to easily make gliding with wind at his or her back and to enjoy high-speed gliding by enclosing a runway by a tunnel-like enclosure and blasting wind into the space enclosed by this enclosure toward the back of the gliding person.
The runway 1 is formed to, for example, an elliptic shape. This runway 1 is covered by the tunnel-like enclosure 5 over the entire course. A fan 2 is connected via a blast duct 3 to part of the shape enclosed by the runway 1 and the enclosure 5 to form a stream of wind in one direction along the runway 1. The gliding person 6 glides along the runway 1 with this wind at his or her back. The runway 1 is provided with an inlet 4a and outlet 4b consisting of double doors so that the wind does not leak from the space enclosed by the runway 1 and the enclosure from the inlet 4a and the outlet 4b. The gliding person is able to make gliding at a high speed by effectively receiving the wind force when the gliding person has the sail at his or her back.
