Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce a manhour to remove lubricant left on the periphery of a mill after rolling when rolling is performed as lubricant is supplied to disk roll type guide shoes in a skew piecer.
CONSTITUTION: Aqueous solution 7a of 0.8l/min obtained by adding styrene acrylic emulsion 10wt.% to boric acid alkanol amine 15wt.% is supplied through a spray nozzle 6a under the pressure of 4kgf/cm2 to lubricate disk roll type guide shoes 2a, 2b. Wash water of 30l/min and under the pressure of 4kgf/cm2 is injected and supplied to both side faces of these disk type roll guide shoes 2a, 2b through spray nozzles 9a, 9b set on a housing.
