PURPOSE: To easily adjust a mutual position between disk rolls and fixed guide shoes used as guide members for a material to be rolled.

CONSTITUTION: Round a pass center line X-X of a solid billet, guide holders 5 are positioned on one side of disk rolls 3 in the direction through which a solid billet B rotates and advances with respect to each disk roll 3 and rotatably supported respectively on rotational axes 3a of the disk rolls 3 which are provided opposite to each other across the pass center line X-X in the direction intersecting with the opposing direction of inclined rolls 1, fixed guide shoes 4 are set attachably and detachably to each guide holder 5, and fixing tools 8 constraining the rotation of each guide holder 5 are provided so that these fixed guide shoes 4 are immovable with respect to the moving area of the solid billet B.
