To enable a skier to glide by drawing ideal loci and to easily make turn operation by disposing a fiber reinforced resin layer consisting of fibers which change in a distortion quantity and change in modulus of elasticity in tension lower than the central axis of the thickness of a ski board.
This ski board 1 is formed by arranging a front surface material 8, a wooden core material 4 and arranging a front surface constituting member 6A and a rear surface constituting member 6B respectively on the front and rear surfaces of this core material 4 and further arranging side members 7 and a gliding surface material 2. The fiber reinforce resin layer 3 consisting of the fibers which change in the distortion quantity and change in the modulus of elasticity in tension is arranged on the lower side of the rear surface constituting the member 6B lower than the central axis A of the thickness of the ski board 1. As a result, the more than needed deflection of the ski board 1 during gliding is suppressed. The rigidity of the ski board 1 increases and the increase in the deflection quantity is suppressed when the magnitude of the load applied on the ski board 1 begins to attain more than the needed magnitude. The ski board 1 having the ideal deflection quantity over the entire part of the turns in thus obtd.
