Abstract:

To prevent the opening, breakage and freezing of a buckle during skiing by protecting the buckle of a ski boot.

This ski boot 1 is provided with an outer shell 2 with a parted and overlapped part 25 obtained by parting to right and left parts and overlapping extending from an upper opening part 23 capable of inserting a foot to an instep part 24 and buckles 26 to 29 capable of fastening the part 25. In this case, the buckle 26 and 27 in a fastening state at the part 24 are covered with a buckle cover 6. Consequently, as the buckles 26 and 27 never hit a snow surface or a pole directly during skiing, unexpected opening and breakage are prevented.
