Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the supporting condition of a foot so as to sufficiently satisfy both high hardness favorably transferring a force and flexibility to favorably bend one's foot. SOLUTION: The ski boots are composed of the lower part surrounding one's foot and heel and having a shell-shape with an indefinite volume, and a collar 2 rotatably connected to the shell 1, and provided with fastening means 4, 5, 6 closing the shell 1 and the collar 2, and a foot belt 10 held at the joint 3 of the collar 2 and formed so as to incline within 5-25 degrees to the rearward lower side to surround the shell 1. The foot belt 10 is provided with a buckle 11 closing and fastening the belt so that the fastening direction F is above the joint. In this way, the supporting condition of feet is improved without large increase of the hardness of the collar 2 and without decrease of the bendability to the forward side.
