SKI BOOTS
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH08308603
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adjust easily when a ski boot is fixed on the ski by matching the boot with the anatomical aspects of the leg. SOLUTION: A ski boot is formed by an instep portion 11 and a sole 12 of which the toe portion and/or heel portion project from the instep portion 11 to form fixing periphery portions for ski fasteners. The sole 12 includes an independent sole portion 15 displaceably mounted so as to intersect the longitudinal direction 16 of the sole and be parallel to the under surface 17 of the sole. This independent sole portion 15 is pivotal (in the two directions of an arrow 19) with an axis 18 extending substantially perpendicular to the under surface of the sole as the pivot center.
