Abstract:
Rear-entry ski boot comprising an upper formed from a cuff element 4 and a rear cover element 5. At least part of the upper is articulated by means of a transverse pin 3 on a rigid lower shell part 1. A device 6 for holding the foot inside the shell part 1 and a device 7 for closing the upper over the lower leg are joined by means of a single cable 8 a portion 813, 814, 815 of which at least partially surrounds the rear of the lower leg. Manoeuvring of a single locking device 10 ensures both immobilisation of the heel in the shell part 1 and closure of the rear cover element 5 over the cuff element 4.
