Title:
SKI BRAKE MECHANISM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS581478
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
A ski-stopper is provided with two brake skids which are arranged on both sides of the ski and which, with adjoining parts or parts bent at least approximately transversely to the longitudinal direction of the ski and parallel to the surface of the ski, form a swivel axle, whose two parts can be moved relative to each other counter to spring force. In order to prevent the swivel axle parts from always being able to be displaced at least to a limited extent towards the centre of the ski, regardless of the angular position of the brake skids relative to the ski, a stop is provided which is fixed to the ski and prevents the relative movement of the two swivel axle parts in the brake position of the ski stopper.
