Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve stability for catching the snow surface during conversion of turning and to improve operatability of rotation of skis by transferring the node of twisting vibration during sliding to the neighborhood of the foot base side.
CONSTITUTION: A first and a second recessed parts 2, 2 and 3, 3 are formed at both end parts 1a and 1a in the ski width direction at the intermediate part in the ski longitudinal direction between the ski front contacting point A of the ski front half position of the ski main body and a shoe placing part S and the ski rear contacting point B of the ski rear half position R and the shoe placing part S over required ranges D1 and D2 in the ski longitudinal direction, and the plate thickness of both end parts 1a and 1a in the ski width direction to the plate thickness (t) of the central part of the ski width direction is decreased to decrease partly the twisting rigidity and bending rigidity of the ski main body 1.
