Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a ski boot automatically stopping a supply of energy when taken off, by opening an energy supply member when a shoe body part is tightened and automatically closing the supply member when the shoe body is relaxed. CONSTITUTION: When a boot body part 12 is tightened by using a cable 32, a flap 33 is forced in, an upper branch part 28b of a ratchet wheel 28 is pushed back inward, and a gas supply controller 16 is normally at a closing position. To initiate a heating system, a controlling button 24 is pushed down. A manual control plate 19 descends against a spring 25. A cock 13 openes, gas flows toward a combustor 3, and the manual control plate 19 presses a presser bar member 17 of a piezoelectric igniter 18 to cause spark discharge to an ignition electrode 8. In opening the boot body part, even if it is failed to stop heating, as soon as the cable 32 is relaxed, the ratchet wheel 28 is detached from a lower edge part 33a of the flap 33 to automatically slide plate members 19, 21 upward by an action of the spring 25 and shift to a closing position of the gas supply.
