Abstract:

To prevent a vibration generated on a ski strip during gliding from being transmitted to a skier's legs.

Strengthening members 3 and 3' are arranged on both upper and lower sides of a main core body 2 laid at the cross sectional center of a ski strip 1, and sub-core materials 4 and 4' are arranged on the upper strengthening member 3 or below the lower strengthening member 3'. Furthermore, vibration absorption materials 10 formed out of' an visco-elastic element softer than the sub-core materials 4 and 4' are arranged thereon along the lengthwise direction of the ski strip 1 near the front and the back of safety binding, so as to be symmetrical via the lengthwise center line of the ski strip 1 at a desired slantwise angle.
