Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a skid button composed of ceramic and heat resistant alloy, having high adiabaticity, high seizure resistance, high corrosion resistance, and high mechanical impact resistance at high temperature, capable of preventing cracks caused by difference in thermal expansion.SOLUTION: A skid button 10 for use in a walking beam furnace is attached to a skid pipe 11 for supporting materials to be heated. In an upper layer part 12a of a skid button body 12 in contact with the materials to be heated, a plurality of first blocks 13 made of ceramic are disposed. In a plane view of the upper layer part 12a, the first blocks 13 are disposed in a grid form or a zigzag form. A heat resistant alloy 14 is interposed between the disposed first blocks 13.
