Title:
SKIING FLOOR UTILIZING WATER ON ARTIFICIAL SKIING FIELD
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0454988
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To enable coolness to tasted sufficiently without maintaining the interior of a building at low temperature by forming a water film with water jetted from a plurality of water jetting holes communicating to artificial lawn and water channels on the surface of the artificial lawn.

CONSTITUTION: A skiing floor of an artificial skiing ground comprises a concrete-made slant stand 1, resin mat 2 provided on the slant stand 1 and artificial resin lawn 3 applied to the surface of the mat 2. The mat 2 is formed in the interior with a plurality of water channels 4 extending widthwise thereof in parallel and on the surface with a plurality of water jetting holes 5 communi cating to the artificial lawn 3 and water channels 4. Water supplied into the water channel 4 is jetted simultaneously from the respective water jetting holes 5 to flow on the surface of the artificial lawn 3 and form a water film on the surface of the artificial lawn 3. Thus, a slide in skiing is improved and more variable skiing can be enjoyed. Frictional heat generated by the slide in skiing is immediately cancelled by the water film formed on the surface of the artificial lawn 3, so that the artificial lawn 3 is never damaged.
