Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve the defects in stability and physical properties of a skin- beautifying agent and to obtain a skin-beautifying cosmetic safe to the skin and having excellent effect.
CONSTITUTION: Extract of hamamelis containing hamamelitannin as a main component is prepared beforehand. The extract contains ≥50wt.% of hamamelitannin, exhibits high tyrosinase-inhibiting action and is stable and safe to the skin. An effective skin-beautifying cosmetic can be prepared by compounding 0.0001-20wt.% of the extract.
