To provide a skin care preparation capable of being suitably applied to inflammation such as allergic inflammation and atopic dermatitis, of which the control is difficult for an ordinary anti-inflammatory, such as indomethacin or prednisolone.

This skin care preparation contains (1) a 4-alkylresorcinol derivative expressed by general formula (1) (R1 is a 5-8C alkyl) and/or a salt thereof and (2) a glycyrrhetinic acid derivative and/or a salt thereof. It is preferable that the 4-alkylresorcinol derivative expressed by general formula (1) comprises 4-hexylresorcinol, 4-cyclohexylresorcinol, or 4-cyclopentylresorcinol. Further, it is preferable that the glycyrrhetinic acid derivative comprises glycyrrhizic acid or stearyl glycyrrhetinate.
