Abstract:
To provide a skin care preparation for external use, having improved stability of a salt of a higher fatty acid ester of ascorbic acid-2-phosphoric acid ester expressed by formula (1) (R is a higher fatty acid residue) among ascorbic acid derivatives.
The skin care preparation for external use contains the specific salt of the higher fatty acid ester of ascorbic acid-2-phosphoric acid ester (A), a water-soluble synthetic polymer compound (B), and water (C). It is preferable that the water-soluble synthetic polymer compound (B) comprises a polymer which has a carbon chain formed by cleavage of a plurality of ethylenic unsaturated carbon-carbon bonds as its main chain.
