Abstract:
To obtain a skin care preparation which has a synergistically reinforced moisture-retaining effect and an excellent skin dry state-improving effect.
This skin care preparation comprises the extract of a plant belonging to the genus Clintonia in the family Uvulariaceae and one or more moisture-retaining ingredients selected from amino acids, peptides, polyhydric alcohols, higher alcohols and their derivatives, phospholipids, glycolipids and steroids. Clintonia borealis and/or Clintonia udensis are suitably used as the plant belonging to the genus Clintonia.
