The skin care preparation is characterized by compounding 0.01 to 20 wt.% of L-ascorbic acid and/or a derivative thereof, and 0.0001 to 10 wt.% of poly-γ-L-glutamic acid and/or a salt thereof, and having a blend weight ratio of a poly-γ-L-glutamic acid and/or a salt thereof/L-ascorbic acid and/or a derivative of 100/1 to 1/5,000.
