PURPOSE: To obtain a skin cleaning agent for face washing, massaging, etc., having excellent waste-removing effect and giving good feeling to the skin.

CONSTITUTION: This cleaning agent contains 0.01-5wt.% of spherical resin powder (e.g. spherical polyethylene) and 0.01-5wt.% of fiber (e.g. nylon wool). The weight ratio of the fiber to the spherical resin powder is preferably 1:(25-2.5). Preferably, the diameter of the spherical resin powder is about 50-300μm and the length of the fiber is about 0.1-5mm. The agent is preferably further incorporated with a granular substance (e.g. fine crystalline cellulose). The agent is properly compounded with humectant, thickener, drug component, colorant, dispersing agent, perfumery, etc., in addition to the above components. The addition of the fiber causes the entanglement of the waste with the fiber to promote the separation of the waste from the skin and the fiber softens the feeling to the skin by preventing the direct contact of the scrubbing agent to the skin.
