Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a skin-cleaning tool which is easy to use and which is capable of efficiently removing dirt in recessed parts of the skin and aged keratin.
CONSTITUTION: A wound thread (silk thread) 3 is formed by winding a single silk spun thread around in a spiral a non-twisted bundle of a plurality of waste silk fiber. A base cloth 2 is woven in the form of a coarse gauze using a relatively heavy cotton thread. The wound thread 3 is inserted in order through the base cloth 2 from the back side thereof to thereby form a plurality of loop 4 in the surface of the base cloth 2. Another cloth 2a is sewn on the back side of the base cloth 2 to thereby form a body towel (skin-cleaning tool).
