Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a skin cosmetic, capable of synergistically enhancing the thermestethia, especially the initial rise of the thermesthesia or sustained effects and useful as toilet water, a cataplasma, a paste agent or the like by using an exothermic agent and a thermesthesic agent in combination.
SOLUTION: This skin cosmetic contains (A) an exothermic agent such as calcium chloride, magnesium sulfate, activated zeolite or potassium carbonate and (B) a thermesthesic agent such as a powder of a Guinea pepper, an extract of Zingiberis Rhizoma, nonylvanillylamide or a compound represented by the formula (R1 is a 1-6C alkyl). The cosmetic preferably contains 0.1-60 wt. ingredient A and 0.001-20 wt.% ingredient B in the whole composition. Since the cosmetic converted into, e.g. a nonaqueous dosage form can be applied to skin wetted with water for use to thereby react the ingredient A with water on the skin and generate heat, simple use thereof can be carried out.
