PURPOSE: To provide a skin cosmetic having excellent senile change preventing effect such as improving skin chapping and corneous layer, promoting turn over of the corneous layer, beautifying skin, etc.

CONSTITUTION: The objective cosmetic is produced by compounding (A) epidermal growth factor having effects to promote epidermal cell differentiation and skin fibroblast cell proliferation and (B) at least one selected from γ- amino-β-hydroxybutyric acid, vitamin E nicotinic acid ester and swertinogen at the ratio of (A)/(B)=(0.0001-5.0wt.%)/(0.001-5.0wt.%). The composition is used in the form of lotion, milky lotion, cream, pack, etc., and optionally, added with coloring matter, perfume, antiseptic, surfactant, pigment, antioxidant, etc., in addition to the above components.
