Abstract:

To provide a composition having both higher skin-lightening effects and cell-activatory effects.

It is revealed that a combination of a δ-tocopherol and a Centella Asiatica extract has high melanin production-inhibiting effects. The Centella Asiatica extract preferably comprises one or two or more compounds selected from the group consisting of an asiatic acid, madecassic acid and asiaticoside, in particular, it preferably comprises the asiatic acid, madecassic acid and asiaticoside.
