Abstract:
To solve many problems remaining unsolved in a preparation form utilizable for an androgen therapy or an estrogen-androgen combined therapy, especially any of the physical therapies incapable of achieving the maintenance of the circadian variation of serum testosterone within a normal physiological range.
This method is to provide a testosterone replacement therapy to females requiring the therapy. This method comprises a step of percutaneously administering testosterone in an amount so as to provide a blood level of the testosterone in substantial agreement with the endogeneous blood level of the teststerone in a healthy young adult female to the female thereto.
