To provide a skirt sealing device of a converter exhaust gas processing apparatus that can make it unnecessary to finely regulate the supply pressure of nitrogen gas supplied into a seal jacket for preventing the dust from accumulating in the seal jacket.
The skirt sealing device 1 of the converter exhaust gas processing apparatus includes: a ring-like seal jacket 7 formed on the outer circumferential side of a skirt 3 movably provided in the vertical direction between a hood 2 and a converter 4; a cylindrical partition tube 8 immersed in the water in the seal jacket 7 fixed on the outer circumferential side of the hood 2; and an ejector 10 which mixes nitrogen gas with washing water supplied into the seal jacket 7 to inject the washing water including the bubbles of the nitrogen gas into the seal jacket 7. The ejector 10 is provided with: a washing water flow-in pipe at the end of which a nozzle is formed; a nitrogen gas suction path formed on the outer circumferential side of the nozzle; and a mixing path where the nitrogen gas sucked by the suction path is mixed with the washing water injected from the nozzle.
