To provide a long skylight structure of smoke exhaust type constituted by mounting an aluminum shoji (sliding door) on an aluminum window frame so as to open and close freely and increasing the strength of a frame having a rectangular shape in plan view and forming the window frame and the shoji by a metallic reinforcing plate so as to facilitate the arrangement of the metallic reinforcing plate.
The window frame and the shoji are constituted by arranging an aluminum indoor side frame and an aluminum outdoor side frame having rectangular planes inside and outside and combining them integrally. A hollow part is formed among four side peripheral wall plate parts in these inner and outer frames, and a guide groove is formed along the peripheral wall plate parts on an upper face or a lower face of the hollow part. An upper end part or a lower end part of the metallic reinforcing plate having a rectangular shape is fitted into the guide groove, and the metallic reinforcing plate is arranged while it is in contact with the peripheral wall plate parts by inserting the metallic reinforcing plate into the hollow part along the guide groove to reinforce a long skylight of smoke exhaust type by the metallic reinforcing plate.
