Abstract:
PURPOSE: To produce a slab capable of producing a cold rolled thin film sheet very good in surface properties by dispersing a specified amt. of inclusions whose m.p. and grain diameters are prescribed into the slab.
CONSTITUTION: At the time of producing a cold rolled steel sheet. inclusions (such as alumina series inclusions and slag series inclusions) having ≤1350°C or ≥1650°C m.p. and ≤200×m grain size are dispersed by ≤103 pieces per kg of slab. At the time of producing a cold rolled steel sheet by using this slab, the cold rolled steel sheet excellent in surface properties in which pinholes, sliver flaws and flange cracks are small can be obtd.
